12AT7-EI Elite-Gold

12AT7 Ei Elite-Gold was 12AT7 Ei tube with gold plated pins. This tube is no longer being produced. Based on Telefunken-like smooth plate design, it could be a decent sounding tube. Microphonics is common with this tube. Also, gold plating is inconsistent and pins may not fit sockets.

12AU7-EI Silver Bullet

12AU7 Ei Silver Bullet is based on Philipps design, providing excellent sonic at a very cost effective price point. We currently have grey plates in stock.

Excellent 12AU7 offering from Ei. 12AU7 Ei Elite-Gold is a factory selected, gold plate pin replacement for any 12AU7. It compares well to NOS 12AU7 in HiFi application, offering balanced sonics.

12AX7M Mullard Re-issue

This is a unique and original 12AX7 from Groove Tubes. They closely re-created the famous Mullard 12AX7. In a guitar amp, 12AX7M delivers rich harmonics when pushed, and also provides good clean tone headroom. 12AX7M is also gaining a lot of following in the HiFi for its smoothness and balance.

12AX7-C9

12AX7C9 is made by Shuguang factory in China. It has higher gain than any other 12AX7 tubes produced today, and has tight tolerance and consistent quality. Excellent in guitar amps if you want great deal of distortion.

Tubes are either unlabeled or marked as 12AX7A, and shipped in a white box.

12AX7Ei Elite-Gold

Factory selected, gold pin version of Ei 12AX7. Just like the Ei 12AX7 Silver Bullet, these tubes can be microphonic for use in guitar combo amps. But they offer extended clear highs and sweet mids that are unrivaled in HiFi audio applications.

There are silver and grey plate versions. Picture shows grey plate version.

12AX7SED

Excellent sounding 12AX7 from SED (ex-Svetlana) people with Winged-C logo. The filaments are not spiraled, which means it may pick up too much hum in amps with AC filament circuit. Most recent audio amps have DC filament so this is not a problem.

EL84-EI Matched Pair

Silver Bullet EL84 from Yugo. Used as standard equipment on VOX AC30. Price is for a matching pair.
Note: Ei EL84 is true to authentic NOS 6BQ5, and has pin 1 tied to pin2 internally. These tubes will not work in some amps that uses pin 1 as a tie point. These amps include Laney VC30, Lexicon Signature 284 and Fender Vibro King.

KT66HP Matched Pair

Russian clone of KT66 from Groove Tubes. Nice warm tone with full bass in guitar amps.

These tubes are matched by Groove Tubes, but we re-match them ourselves for a closer match.

KT90-EI Matched Pair

Ei KT90 is an excellent substitute for KT88 and 6550 in audiophile application. Provides excellent bass but with full dynamics in HiFi application. Price is for matching pair.
